Baka and Bhima fight

The fighting between Baka and Bhima is very crude and without any formal weapons. Baka breaks off a stout branch from a near by tree and attacks Bhima. Bhima also does the same.

After a while, this turns into a hand fight with a mixture of moves from boxing and wrestling. Bhima is a man of good stamina and his strategy is simple, “to wear out the opponent”. In such fights, he always waits for an opportunity when, the opponent is tired.

Brahmins are a lot, who would travel anywhere, to get gifts and alms, and that is their main livelihood. Some villagers from the agrahara (Brahmin ghetto) were traveling North, all the way to the kingdom of Panchala, to attend princess Draupadi‘s wedding, hoping that, they would get some gifts.
